Colette’s is uniquely located in the “rainshadow”
of the Olympic Mountains. This means that we receive much less rain than our neighbors.
In fact, we average over 290 days of sunshine every year and only 15”- 17” of rain per
year! The mild climate has made the area a very pleasant tourist destination, as well as a
popular retirement and recreation area.
